Description: The University of Dhaka is the oldest university in modern Bangladesh. Established during the British Raj in 1921, it gained reputation as the “Oxford of the East” during its early years and has been a significant contributor to the modern history of Bangladesh. The Curzon Hall is a British Raj-era building and home of the Faculty of Science at the University of Dhaka. The building was originally intended to be a town hall and is named after Lord Curzon, the then Viceroy of India. The old High Court Building in Dhaka is situated opposite to the Lord Curzon Hall. We will visit Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Shah Baz Kha Mosque, Art College. Beside these we will also take tour to Bangla Academy. Cemetery of our National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam and great artist Zainul Abedin, University mosque, Shahid Minar, Gurduara and many more.
